Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President in this role, your primary responsibility is to support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. Your accountabilities include: - Identifying and analyzing business problems and client requirements that necessitate change within the organization. - Developing business requirements to effectively address business problems and opportunities. - Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations. - Supporting the creation of business cases justifying investment in proposed solutions. - Conducting feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. - Creating reports on project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of proposed solutions. - Designing operational and process structures to ensure solutions are delivered within the agreed scope. - Supporting change management activities, such as developing a traceability matrix for successful implementation and integration of proposed solutions within the organization. In addition, as an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to: - Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. - Lead a team in performing complex tasks, utilizing professional knowledge and skills to impact the entire business function. - Set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes. - Demonstrate leadership behaviors such as listening, inspiring, aligning across the enterprise, and developing others. - Consult on complex issues, providing advice to support the resolution of escalated issues. - Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of control and governance. - Take ownership of managing risk and enhancing controls related to the work. - Collaborate with other areas of work and engage in complex data analysis to creatively solve problems. - Communicate complex information effectively and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
