You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking, industry knowledge, and current expertise. Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients through calls, emails, or virtual meetings will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be required to create, develop, and present customized business proposals and pitches. Managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure is crucial. Collaboration with the technical and marketing teams to align offerings with client needs is essential. It is important to stay updated on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities. Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets is a key performance indicator. Accurate record-keeping of sales activity and client information using CRM tools is required. To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the IT industry. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, web/mobile technologies, or IT services is necessary. A proven track record of achieving sales targets is highly valued. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in CRM software is required. You should also have the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
