Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.The Sr. Analytics Consultant is a business intelligence–focused expert who participates in the delivery of analytics solutions and reporting for various UKG products such as Pro, UKG Dimensions, and UKG Datahub. The candidate is also responsible for interacting with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery. The role requires leveraging the strengths of software tools and platforms to provide optimized solutions to customers.The Sr. Analytics Consultant will also be responsible for developing custom analytics solutions and reports to specification, as well as supporting the solutions delivered.The candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and in writing across all organizational levels, from executive staff to technical resources. The role involves working closely with Program/Project Managers, Management Consultants, and fellow Analytics Consultants to deliver solutions that meet design requirements, scope, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Interact with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Deploy and configure UKG Analytics and Data Hub products based on design documents.Develop and deliver best-practice visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Cognos, BIRT, Power BI, etc.Define test plans, validate deployed solutions, and document results.Provide support during production cutover and post–go-live, acting as the first level of support for customer and consultant requests.Analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and issues; present insights in a clear and actionable format.Apply practical knowledge of AI/ML models (predictive analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing, etc.) to extend customer value.Contribute to data engineering efforts—data integration, transformation, quality assurance, and pipeline design—ensuring scalable and reliable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience designing and delivering analytical/business intelligence solutions.Strong experience with BI tools such as Cognos, BIRT, or Power BI.Proven practical exposure to AI/ML concepts (e.g., developing predictive models, feature engineering, or integrating ML outputs into BI dashboards).Hands-on experience in data engineering concepts (ETL design, data pipelines, data modeling, orchestration, optimization).ETL experience using Talend or other industry-standard tools strongly preferred.Advanced SQL proficiency required.Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or similar) required.Working knowledge of Python required for analytics, data engineering, or AI-related tasks.Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly is essential.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to support customers in different time zones is required.
