Sr. Analyst/Associate - Compliance Testing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Testing and Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory obligations, with the ability to conduct thorough testing and surveillance of business areas.

Responsibilities

Compliance Testing – Conducting periodic testing of key business policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations. Performing periodic surveillance of key medium/high risk identified business areas. Review and maintenance of policies & procedures, risk assessments and key risk indicators.

Reporting – Preparation of formal compliance assessment reports summarizing test results with identified risk areas and recommending risk mitigation plans and opportunities for process enhancements. Further assisting with development and implementation of corrective actions as identified by the testing program and recommending enhancements to all facets of the business. Preparation of memoranda documenting the surveillance results.

Additional responsibilities – Including but not limited to, assist and support client’s registered investment adviser on investment limitation and research; provide compliance support on operational initiatives and related matters; Ad hoc projects as needed; SEC compliance, 38(a)-1 Compliance program, state insurance laws etc.; develop successful working relationships with Business, Technology and Third-Party Administrators (TPA)

Qualifications

MBA / Law / M.Com / FRM / CRCM / CISI qualification with minimum 6 years of industry experience out of which 3-4 years of core compliance, testing and/or audit experience.

Thorough understanding of regulations related to financial instruments, Investments, Loans, Annuities etc. Prior experience of compliance is must.

Capacity to process and filter large amounts of complex information quickly and identify appropriate actions in a fast-paced environment.

Familiar with compliance reporting and filing structures of the regulating authorities.

Good report writing and presentation skills.
