Sr Analyst - Debt Syndication from DFIs For Africa /Asia

Key Responsibilities:

• New Business Expansion/Origination : Source new clients an implementing strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth, client acquisition, and market positioning.
• Originate new clients - Reach out to new clients in Africa and south east Asia through call, email and LinkedIn.
• Travel to Africa to meet prospective clients and secure mandates.
• Reach out and speak to Europe based Development Finance Institutions and pitch them client from Africa for green and development finance
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-suite executives in Africa and Europe across NBFC, Solar Real estate and Manufacturing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including investor relations, compliance, and research, to ensure seamless deal execution
• Market & Credit Analysis: Conduct advanced financial modeling, prepare credit note, sectoral analysis to support transactions and business growth.
• End-to-End Transaction Execution: Responsible for the complete deal lifecycle, including:
• Borrower onboarding and understanding borrower requirements and market fit
• Securing mandates and negotiating fees
• Preparing credit notes and analyzing key financial data
• Coordinating with internal investor relations and expanding the investor network
• Presenting borrower credit to investors and structuring transactions to align stakeholder interests.

Qualifications & Experience

Prior experience in debt syndication or working with DFIs and clients in Africa/Asia/Latin America is mandatory.

Educational Background:

Please include your academic marks in percentage for Class 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post Graduation in your resume.

• Chartered Accountant with a strong track record in financial structuring and capital markets.

OR

• Graduate from top tier collage with demonstrated academic excellence along with professional Experience (any of the following):
• Understanding and experience in offshore debt markets - ECB, hedging, currency swap
• 1-3 years in loan syndication or debt fundraising in India or Africa.
• 1-3 years in a lending role at a Bank, Development Finance institution , AIF or NBFC
• 1-3 years in a rating agency or trusteeship firm

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments such as Term Loans, ECB ,NCDs, Sub Debt, Securitization, etc.
• Willingness to travel to Africa and Europe at least once in two months

• Ability to influence and manage client expectations confidently
• Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently under pressure
