Sr. Accountant

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Analyze financial data and trends for management reporting.

2. General Ledger Management

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accuracy of journal entries and proper documentation.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in the development of annual budgets.
• Provide variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures.
• Support management with financial forecasts and projections.

4. Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Monitor and improve internal controls and processes.

5. Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight

• Review and approve supplier invoices and payments.
• Monitor customer receivables and aging reports.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for transactions.

6. Tax Preparation and Filing

• Support preparation of tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
• Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes.

7. Fixed Asset Management

• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Record depreciation and asset disposals.

8. Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Guide and support junior accountants or accounting assistants.
• Delegate tasks and review work for accuracy and completeness.

9. System and Process Improvements

• Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
• Help implement new accounting software or tools as needed.

10. Liaison and Coordination

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
