Sr. Accountant

Job Title: Sr. Accountant (5+ Years Experience)

Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMA Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, costing, and financial management. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial analysis, statutory compliance, and supporting business decision-making. Candidates who have discontinued CA but possess strong practical exposure are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain complete books of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank/virtual account reconciliations

· Raise customer invoices, debit/credit notes, and manage fintech-specific billing cycles

· Handle high-volume transaction accounting related to payments, lending, or digital services

· Perform revenue recognition as per contracts and applicable accounting standards

· Manage GST compliance – returns, reconciliations, e-invoicing, and audits

· Ensure compliance with RBI, NBFC, and fintech regulatory requirements (as applicable)

· Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, dashboards, and management reports

· Monitor cash flows, escrow/settlement accounts, and working capital

· Coordinate with banks, payment gateways, auditors, and compliance teams

· Support internal audits, statutory audits, and regulatory inspections

· Strengthen financial controls, SOPs, and process automation

Required Qualification

• CMA (Certified Management Accountant) – Mandatory
• CA Inter / CA Discontinued candidates are acceptable
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and GST laws
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
• Experience in cost accounting and management reporting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,266.54 - ₹35,000.00 per month
