Job Title: Sr.Academic Counselor

Location: Thiruvalla / Chengannur

Department: Sales

Reports To: Head of Department

Job Summary:

The Sr. Academic Counselor is responsible for managing and growing sales for the branch, achieving revenue targets, building strong customer relationships, and leading the branch sales team. This role ensures operational excellence, drives business development, and aligns branch performance with overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Ensure consistent customer acquisition and retention efforts.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, motivate, and develop the branch sales team to achieve high performance.

Set clear sales goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Conduct training sessions and sales meetings to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and team resource allocation.

Branch Operations & Administration

Oversee daily branch operations ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Manage budgets, sales forecasts, and expense controls.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue, and customer metrics.

Coordinate with support departments to ensure smooth operations.

Customer Relationship Management

Ensure excellent customer service and prompt resolution of client issues.

Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through proactive engagement and follow-ups.

Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve products/services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in education industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams effectively.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Ability to work under pressure and travel as required.

Achievement of branch sales and revenue targets.

Growth in customer base and retention rate.

Team productivity and performance metrics.

Profitability and cost efficiency of the branch.

Customer satisfaction scores.
