Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for optimal performance. Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes. Perform query tuning and database performance optimization. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate databases with applications. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues. Automate database maintenance tasks using scripts. Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS). Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server. Strong knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning. Familiarity with database security, authentication, and encryption. Experience with ETL tools(SSIS) and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS (preferred). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and database automation (preferred).
