Spotify Growth Lead

Drive follower growth, boost monthly downloads, and retain listeners

Role & Responsibilities

• Own the growth of our Spotify channel—your mission: increase followers, boost monthly downloads, and improve retention.
• Lead growth marketing strategies, from planning to hands-on execution.
• Collaborate with the production team, brainstorming new show ideas and optimizing existing content.
• Analyze performance, dig into data (Spotify for Podcasters & more), and experiment with ways to grow our listener base.
• Give feedback on episode structure, scripts, and show flow—your creative input will shape the channel.
• Optimize for audio SEO: titles, keywords, descriptions.
• Plan and run paid ad campaigns on Spotify (must-have experience).
• Work closely on content, including basic audio editing or feedback using tools like Audition, FL Studio, etc.—you don’t have to be a full-time editor, but you should know your way around the basics.
• Set your own growth strategy, track KPIs, and report to the Content Head.
  

Skills And Software Proficiency

• Proven experience growing Spotify channels (must-have, not negotiable).
• Strong with Spotify for Podcasters, analytics, and paid ads.
• Able to use audio editing tools like Adobe Audition, FL Studio, or similar (not an editing role, but you should be comfortable with the basics).
• Decent writing chops for episode titles, show notes, and guiding content tweaks.
• Comfortable giving feedback on both creative and technical aspects of shows.
• Hustle, adaptability, and a collaborative vibe—good communicator and team player.
• Bonus if you have experience with “crime” or suspense genres.
