Spare Parts Manager

A two-wheeler spare parts manager is responsible for managing inventory, controlling stock levels, and ensuring the timely procurement and distribution of parts. This includes overseeing ordering, processing customer and service orders, managing staff, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Key duties also involve collaborating with suppliers and other departments, promoting sales, and ensuring the department runs smoothly and profitably. Inventory and stock management

• Manage and maintain spare parts inventory levels, ensuring they are adequate for operational needs.
• Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Develop and improve inventory reporting and control procedures.
• Ensure parts are correctly stored, tagged, and organized.
• Manage the ordering, receiving, and distribution of parts.
• Oversee returns and the liquidation of obsolete or defective parts.

Operations and logistics

• Process customer orders and inquiries efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers to order and replenish parts, negotiating prices and terms.
• Work with internal departments like service to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.
• Manage the flow of parts shipping and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and environmental protocols.

Sales and customer service

• Promote parts sales, specials, and promotions.
• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts.
• Build and maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring parts availability and efficient service.

Staff and performance management

• Manage, train, and develop the parts department staff.
• Delegate tasks and oversee the work of the team.
• Monitor departmental performance, analyze sales and expenses, and work to meet profit goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize department efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
