Sourcing Manager

With $9M in funding from Z47, Accel, and marquee angel investors, we are on a trajectory of rapid expansion fueled by our in-house designing, manufacturing capabilities, and profound customer insights. Your role will be crucial as you lead the sourcing function for both fabrics and garments. This entrepreneurial position is perfect for someone who excels in fast-paced environments and is eager to take charge of critical sourcing and procurement processes. Based in Jaipur, you will closely collaborate with our design and manufacturing teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of high-quality materials, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Fabric Sourcing: - Identify and establish partnerships with fabric suppliers across Jaipur and other regions. - Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards with suppliers to meet brand requirements. Garment Sourcing: - Source ready-made garments when necessary, ensuring alignment with design, quality, and cost parameters. - Collaborate with in-house teams to seamlessly integrate sourced materials into the manufacturing process. Vendor Management: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply and timely delivery. - Regularly evaluate supplier performance to uphold quality and reliability. Quality Assurance: - Collaborate with the quality control team to guarantee sourced fabrics and garments meet the necessary standards. Cost Optimization: - Identify opportunities to optimize sourcing costs without compromising quality. - Maintain detailed cost sheets and sourcing budgets. Market Research: - Stay abreast of the latest trends in fabrics, garment designs, and supplier innovations. - Explore new sourcing opportunities and strategies to support the brand's growth. Process Improvement: - Streamline sourcing processes for enhanced efficiency and scalability as the brand expands. An ideal candidate would possess: - 3-5 years of experience in fabric and/or garment sourcing, preferably in the fashion industry. - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and manufacturing processes. - Ability to assess and ensure quality standards. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving results.,
