Title: Technical Architect – AdTech Experience: 10+ Years Location: Onsite – Pune (Work from Office) About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect with deep expertise in AdTech systems to lead the architecture and design of scalable, high-performance platforms for programmatic advertising and app monetisation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll define system architecture, guide engineering teams, and ensure reliability and performance at scale. Ideal for those with a strong backend and infrastructure background, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges in the AdTech space. Key Responsibilities Architecture & System Design Design scalable and reliable system architectures tailored for programmatic ad platforms Lead end-to-end technical planning, architecture reviews, and performance optimisations Translate business requirements into high-level architecture and technical solutions Technical Leadership & Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, and Engineering Provide technical mentorship and direction to development teams Drive technical innovation and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to AdTech Platform Reliability & Performance Define standards for high availability, fault tolerance, and system scalability Review code, conduct system audits, and lead performance monitoring efforts Ensure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines follow best practices Security & Compliance Ensure adherence to security best practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate compliance into system design Core Skill Set Strong experience in AdTech ecosystems (DSP, SSP, RTB, header bidding, mediation layers) Proven expertise in backend architecture, microservices, and distributed systems Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching systems, message queues, and API design Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in startup environments or building high-scale AdTech platforms Familiarity with data engineering tools and real-time streaming frameworks (Kafka, Spark, etc.) Understanding of privacy laws and how they impact digital advertising platforms
