Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, inverters, wiring, and support structures.
• Perform site assessments, including roof measurements, shading analysis, and load evaluations.
• Diagnose and repair system faults in solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and hybrid setups.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on solar systems, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Ensure proper earthing, wiring, and safety measures as per BIS/MNRE standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and project managers to deliver high-quality installations.
• Train customers on system operation, safety, and monitoring tools.
• Maintain detailed service reports, installation records, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy (or equivalent).
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, and service (freshers with training can also apply).
• Knowledge of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with tools, testing instruments, and safety protocols in solar system installation.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to travel for projects.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with

  LiFePO4 battery banks and hybrid inverters

• Knowledge of

  vertical wind turbine integration

• Basic understanding of IoT-enabled solar monitoring systems.
• Certification from

  MNRE/NISE or other renewable energy bodies
