Solar Plant Site Engineer

About the Role

Soltrac Power is seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer to oversee the on-site execution of solar projects. The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising installations, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with vendors and project teams, and maintaining site records to ensure smooth project completion.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for solar project installation and commissioning.
• Supervise technicians, contractors, and laborers to ensure proper execution of work.
• Ensure compliance with project drawings, designs, and technical specifications.

Quality & Safety

• Maintain quality control throughout installation and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Enforce safety protocols at site and ensure safe working practices for all workers.
• Conduct regular inspections and resolve on-site technical issues.

Material & Coordination

• Coordinate with the Procurement & Logistics Manager for material requirements and availability.
• Manage material issuance and maintain proper stock records at site.
• Report daily progress, site challenges, and manpower deployment to the Project Manager.

Testing & Commissioning

• Support commissioning activities including system testing, troubleshooting, and performance checks.
• Ensure documentation of test reports and handover processes.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (solar projects preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, structures, and cabling.
• Proficiency in site reporting, MS Office, and basic project documentation.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple project sites.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
