Solar Engineer and Sales

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Engineering:

Design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems based on customer needs, site assessments, and energy consumption patterns. Perform energy audits and system calculations to determine the appropriate size andconfiguration of solar systems. Ensure that solar designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Use software tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.) to model system performance and optimize design.

2. Installation of Solar Systems:
Install solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, and all related electrical components at residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Follow safety protocols to ensure all installations are completed with high safety standards and incompliance with legal regulations' Troubleshoot, test, and commission solar systems to ensure proper function and maximum energy output. Ensure the proper wiring of inverters, batteries, and other solar system components.

3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform regular maintenance and servicing of installed solar systems to ensure optimalperformance and longevity. Identify and resolve issues related to system performance, including faulty connections, panel damage, or inverter failures' Provide technical support and maintenance for customers post-installation, including troubleshooting and system upgrades.

4. Customer Interaction and Support:

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their energy needs and guide them through the solar system installation , Provide clients with system performance reports, maintenance instructions, and educational materials regarding solar energy. Address any customer concerns regarding system performance or technical issues and provide solutions promptly.

5. Site Assessments and Planning:

Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of solar installations, considering factors such as roof space, shading, orientation, and structural integrity's Prepare site assessment reports and provide clients with system proposals and quotes' Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure that customer expectations are met and the project is delivered on time.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

Keep detailed records of system designs, installations, and maintenance activities. Provide regular reports on project status, including timeframes, costs, and any issues encountered during installation's Submit post-installation documentation, including system schematics, operation manuals, and warranties to customers.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all solar installations comply with local electrical codes, building codes, and industry standards.
• Adhere to all safety procedures while performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain safety certifications and participate in training to stay up to date with industry safety practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education's Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
• Alternatively, technical certifications in solar energy systems (e.g., NABCEP certification) arealso highly regarded 

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in solar energy system installation and design.
• Experience in electrical wiring, system troubleshooting, and hands-on installation is required.
• Familiarity with solar design software and system modeling is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and renewable energy technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs.
• Good understanding of electrical safety protocols and industry standards.o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (e.g., rooftops, outdoor locations).

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with occasional travel to installation sites.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and elevated work areas.
• May require working at heights or in confined spaces.

• Petrol Allowances Rs.3pkm
