Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Power Project Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in solar energy systems design, with a focus on creating innovative and efficient solutions for solar power projects. As a Solar Power Project Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of solar energy systems from initial planning stages to project completion. Responsibilities: 1. System Design and Planning: · Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and energy needs. · Design solar power systems based on project requirements, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance. · Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications for solar installations. 2. Technology Evaluation: · Stay updated on the latest solar technologies and industry trends. · Evaluate and recommend appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other components for each project. 3. Project Coordination: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution. · Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases. 4. Cost Estimation: · Prepare accurate cost estimates for solar power projects, considering materials, labour and other relevant factors. 5. Documentation: · Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, technical reports, and as-built drawings. Qualifications: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. · Proven experience in designing solar power projects, with a minimum of 3 years in the solar energy industry. · Proficiency in solar design software, AutoCAD, PVsyst and other relevant tools. · Strong understanding of electrical systems, energy storage, and grid integration. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills. · Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
