Software Testing Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Testing Trainer to deliver structured training in manual testing, automation testing, and related tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in QA methodologies, test case design, and tools like Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Postman, and JIRA. Experience in training students or professionals is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive training sessions on Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, and basic Performance Testing.
• Teach concepts such as SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, test case creation, bug reporting, and Agile methodologies.
• Train learners on testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Postman, JIRA, Git, and test management tools.
• Prepare training materials, hands-on exercises, mini-projects, and assessments.
• Guide students on real-time projects and industry-relevant testing practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in the software testing domain.
• Provide individual mentoring and support during and after the course.

Required Skills

• Strong foundational knowledge of software testing principles, both manual and automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python (for scripting), and TestNG.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, and familiarity with REST APIs.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps integration with testing.
• Working knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in teaching, coaching, or corporate training is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Certification in QA/Testing (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
• Exposure to other testing areas like performance testing (JMeter), mobile testing, or security testing is a plus.
