Software Tester

Core Responsibilities

· Analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test cases and test plans.

· Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications for functional, regression, and exploratory tests.

· Design and develop automation test scripts and frameworks for UI and API testing.

· Execute test scripts and analyze results, ensuring accurate defect reporting and tracking.

· Work closely with developers and product managers in Agile teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

· Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines and maintain test environments.

· Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency by identifying opportunities to automate.

· Contribute to test documentation, knowledge base, and QA process improvements.

· Provide mentoring or guidance to junior QA engineers as needed.

Skills and Requirements

· Strong hands-on experience with both manual testing techniques and automation testing tools.

· Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

· Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

· Programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

· Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

· Experience in working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

· Experience in writing SQL queries for data validation.

· Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

We are seeking an experienced Software tester with 5 to 7 yrs for our testing team. Should have strong proficiency in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, executing functional test cases, and ensuring high software quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
