Job Summary:

We are seeking a young and energetic QA Test Engineer with a strong foundation in testing and an aptitude for business analysis. The ideal candidate is someone who uses common sense and critical thinking to identify key test scenarios, contributes to software deployment quality, and can communicate clearly with technical and business teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact, tech-driven initiative that touches multiple aspects of the insurance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test scenarios and cases that reflect real-world usage and critical risk points

· Identify and document critical edge cases, functional issues, and UI/UX bugs

· Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand and validate requirements

· Participate in release cycles, deployments, and post-release verifications

· Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and defect reports

· Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to support requirement clarification and product validation

· Actively participate in product discussions, bridging the gap between technical development and business needs

· Be open to supporting business analysis activities, such as gathering user requirements and creating user stories

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in software testing (manual or automation)

· Strong analytical mindset and practical judgment in identifying critical scenarios

· Understanding of QA processes and the software development life cycle

· Familiarity with software deployment practices

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to think from a user’s perspective and translate business goals into test outcomes

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

· Experience with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, or similar

· Basic understanding of APIs and database queries (e.g., SQL)

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

· Exposure to business analysis or requirements documentation

· Experience in Insurance Domain is a plus

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
