We are looking for a Software Test Engineer responsible for validating web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of testing processes, will work closely with cross-functional teams, and leverage AI tools for test case generation to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Develop test plans based on project requirements in collaboration with BAs and developers. Design, create, and execute manual and AI-generated test cases for web and mobile applications. Execute regression, UI/UX, and cross-device/browser compatibility tests. Use Azure DevOps / Jira Board for test case management, bug tracking, and task updates. Associate test cases with user stories and ensure they meet defined acceptance criteria. Report detailed, evidence-backed bugs and assign them to developers. Collaborate with the development team for issue resolution and provide feedback on quality. Participate actively in UAT cycles, ensuring minimal post-UAT defects. Continuously learn and explore AI-based testing tools and automation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in QA/testing for web and mobile platforms. Good understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and responsiveness testing. Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and test case management tools. Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is a plus. Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Swagger. Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and a proactive, learning mindset.
