Software Test Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Software Test Analyst (2-3.5 years only) to join our growing QA team. Role Overview

As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing test cases, participating in agile ceremonies, identifying defects, and ensuring that our software meets the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to process improvements and team success.

Experience:

• 2–3.5 years of software testing experience
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid development environments

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, change requests, and acceptance criteria
• Write and execute test cases for BAU and project initiatives
• Report, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA and Zephyr Scale
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA professionals
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and grooming sessions
• Suggest improvements to streamline the testing lifecycle and increase efficiency
• Document reusable procedures and testing approaches
• Continuously enhance personal knowledge and testing practices

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in test and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr Scale)
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with databases
• Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Background in testing client/server applications or CRM systems is a plus
• Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
