Software Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the software sales vertical and own end-to-end sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with farmers, milk unions, collection centers, and dairies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product demos, presentations, and negotiations with decision-makers.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to understand customer needs and recommend the right solutions.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for software solutions in the dairy industry.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and provide market intelligence to the management team.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and regularly update CRM with sales activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in enterprise software sales / SaaS sales/technology solutions sales (experience in AgriTech / DairyTech / ERP preferred).
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into customer benefits.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India for business development.
