About the Role:

Direct Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive

  direct sales

  of software solutions to

  Government, PSU, and Defence customers

  .
• Identify and pursue

  new business opportunities

  within the government and public sector ecosystem.
• Manage the

  end-to-end sales cycle

  — from lead generation, RFP participation, proposal submission, to closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in

  Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs

  .
• Work closely with

  pre-sales and technical teams

  to align customer needs with product offerings.
• Develop and execute

  strategic account plans

  to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Stay informed about

  government IT initiatives, tenders, and procurement processes

  .
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication, with

  MBA in Marketing

  .

• Experience:

  4–5 years of experience in

  Software Sales / IT Solution Sales

  .
• Proven experience in

  Direct Sales to Government, Defence, and PSU customers

  .
• Strong network and connections with

  Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs

  .
• Excellent

  presentation, communication, and negotiation

  skills.
• Good understanding of

  government e-procurement systems

  and tendering processes.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
