As a Software Engineer at PropertyGuru, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business objectives and delight our users. Your commitment to best practices and collaborative approach will drive the success of our projects and contribute to the overall improvement of our development processes.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

• Develop software applications, majorly in react native, that meet requirement specifications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Perform thorough code reviews and unit testing to maintain code quality and adherence to best development practices.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and squads, including developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of existing core services and integration of new services.

We're looking for someone who:

• Proven experience in software development, specifically in UI. We are looking for software enthusiasts who are primarily skilled in React Native. Knowledge of React is a plus.
• Proficiency in react native and mobile app frameworks. Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Commitment to maintaining high code quality through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Passion for continuous learning and improvement, staying updated with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Our tech stack centers around the JavaScript ecosystem, using Node.js and NestJS for the backend, React and React Native with JavaScript/TypeScript for the frontend, and Next.js for full-stack applications. We also work with GraphQL, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Tailwind, Chakra UI, Jest, Playwright, and Redis.
