Role Overview:

ServiceNow Developer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Configure and customise ITSM Pro modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Lead and support

    CMDB and CSDM deployments

    , ensuring accurate data modelling and service mapping.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, customisations, and integrations.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend enhancements aligned with platform updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7

    years of relevant experience

    in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Strong expertise in

    ITSM Pro

    and its advanced features.
  • Proven experience with

    CMDB and CSDM

    implementation and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with

    ServiceNow integrations

    using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Flow Designer, and App Engine Studio.
  • Exposure to ITOM, SecOps, or HRSD modules.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow
