Job Summary:

SDET – Java Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  using Java.
• Build

  end-to-end automated test cases

  for APIs, web, and backend systems.
• Integrate automated tests with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to identify test requirements.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

  using automation.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects with detailed logs and evidence.
• Contribute to

  test strategy, test planning, and quality engineering practices

  .
• Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency of test execution.
• Mentor junior team members and advocate

  best practices in automation and testing

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  .

• 5+ years of experience

  as SDET / Test Automation Engineer.
• Strong programming experience in

  Java

  .
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as:

• Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

  (UI Testing)

• RestAssured / Karate / Postman / SOAP UI

  (API Testing)

• TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD/TDD)

• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc.).
• Knowledge of

  Git / SVN

  for version control.
• Familiarity with

  SQL

  for database validation.
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
