Job Title: .NET/C# Developer Location: Gurugram, India – in office 2x a week (wed & thurs) Duration: 12 mo contract extending Required Qualifications: Mid level: 5+ years working as a .NET Senior Software Engineer Proficiency with C# .NET and .NET Core Write complex SQL queries to interact with databases. Experienced troubleshooting and resolving defects in productions (UAT) Strong experience with Unit Testing Proficient in both relational (SQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adhere to Agile software development methodologies. Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Proven experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP Work with JavaScript to create dynamic, interactive user interfaces. Work with JSON and XML data formats. Provide mentorship to junior engineers Plusses: Experience with Mongo DB Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineers to join the Data Solutions team of a large financial services firm. In this role, you will help maintain legacy software applications using C# and .NET Framework while also participating in exploratory and execution of Microservice implementations. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Write complex SQL queries to interact with databases providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in Production, UAT, and Stage environments Designing, developing and deploying cloud-based systems Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; using .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, REST Api, Html, CSS, JavaScript, Single Page Applications, SQL, and automated testing tools, including nUnit / xUnit Other Notes: 90% hands on and 10% communication with product teams and stakeholders 1 st 6 months the candidates are expected to come up to speed gaining expertise and knowledge on legacy gaps - they have product owners to get all the stuff they need Ability to make codebase changes and not break the application BVD apps have been worked on by different engineers over so many years - they might not be able to get answers from people on the team, but rather through the codebase Compensation: $22 - $32 LPA Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
