About the Role

Senior SDET

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for ETL workflows and data validation.
• Validate complex

  ETL pipelines, data transformations, and integrations

  across multiple sources.
• Write and optimize

  complex SQL queries

  to validate large datasets, ensure data integrity, and perform reconciliation.
• Develop

  Python-based automation scripts

  to support ETL/data testing and API validation.
• Collaborate with

  data engineers, developers, and QA teams

  to define test strategies and identify gaps.
• Implement

  best practices for data quality testing

  , including schema validation, duplicate detection, and data lineage checks.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
• Mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers, guiding them in test automation best practices.
• Contribute to

  test planning, risk analysis, and documentation

  for large-scale enterprise data projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience

  in software testing, with strong expertise as an

  SDET

  .
• Proven hands-on experience in

  ETL/DWH testing

  and validating complex data workflows.
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  (joins, subqueries, CTEs, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Strong

  Python programming skills

  , with ability to build test automation frameworks and scripts from scratch.
• Experience with

  data warehouses, big data platforms, or cloud ETL tools

  (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of

  software testing methodologies

  (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a remote, distributed team.

• Experience with
