Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Voicebot Developer with Node.js expertise to design, develop, and optimize AI-driven voice interaction systems. You will be responsible for creating conversational workflows, integrating with speech recognition and synthesis technologies, and ensuring seamless backend performance for our voice-enabled applications.

Responsibilities

• Voicebot Development: Build, enhance, and maintain voicebot solutions using Node.js and relevant frameworks.

• Integration: Connect voice platforms (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework, Rasa) with backend services and APIs.

• Speech Processing: Implement and optimize speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities for natural user experiences.

• Workflow Design: Collaborate with product and UX teams to design smooth, conversational user journeys.

• Backend Services: Develop robust server-side logic, APIs, and data management solutions.

• Security: Implement data protection, user authentication (OAuth/JWT), and secure integrations.

• Testing & QA: Write testable, reusable code and perform unit testing to ensure reliability.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the responsiveness, accuracy, and scalability of voicebot systems.

• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for processes, integrations, and workflows.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in voice AI technologies and Node.js development trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying voicebots or conversational AI solutions.

• Knowledge of frameworks like Express.js and experience with asynchronous programming patterns.

• Familiarity with voicebot platforms such as Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Rasa, or Botpress.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3) for UI integration.

• Experience with MongoDB/MySQL or other database systems.

• Understanding of accessibility and user experience in voice interfaces.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs, cloud services, and microservices architecture.

• Proficient with Git and code versioning best practices.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
