Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer – VB.NET & SQL Server

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in VB.NET (Windows Forms) and Microsoft SQL Server 2022. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing software applications and databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend (Microsoft SQL Server 2022):

• Install, configure, and manage Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Design, create, and modify database schemas, tables, and views.
• Develop and debug Stored Procedures, Triggers, User Defined Functions (UDFs), and Nested Queries.
• Ensure data normalization, integrity, and performance optimization.
• Perform regular database backups, restores, and maintenance tasks.
• Execute and modify backend queries for application support under supervision.

Frontend (VB.NET – Windows Forms):

• Develop, maintain, and debug VB.NET WinForms applications.
• Utilize DevExpress controls for rich UI design and efficient data presentation.
• Design and customize reports using ActiveReports.
• Implement minor form modifications, validations, and data-binding adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with the backend team to ensure seamless data flow and application performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in VB.NET and SQL Server development.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience in database design, optimization, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with DevExpress and ActiveReports tools.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
