Software Engineer

The KYC Operations Intmd Analyst role at Citi involves being responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The primary objective is to develop and manage an internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi. In this role, you will be accountable for various risk and control aspects, including Information Security, Continuation of Business, and Records Management. Your responsibilities will entail conducting risk analysis and evaluating associated controls to identify root causes. Collaborating with peers and management to report findings and provide solutions to mitigate risks and control issues will be a key part of your role. You will also provide support to business managers and product staff, partner with peers and management on developing and executing business plans, compliance guidelines, and risk & control reporting. Additionally, you will interface with internal and external teams to offer guidance and subject matter expertise when necessary. As the KYC Operations Intmd Analyst, you will work closely with Internal Audit (IA) and external audit teams to provide insights on situations that pose risks and legal liabilities for Citi. Being able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise independent judgment, and act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members is essential for this position. Qualifications for this role include 2-5 years of relevant experience, a proven track record of making effective and timely decisions, and the ability to anticipate and respond to customer/business needs consistently. Demonstrated skills in building partnerships across business regions are also required. Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
