Software Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Development Manager to join our team for a dynamic role. In this role, you will be fully responsible for overseeing project progress, tracking task status, and ensuring timely follow-ups with the contributors to the project both inside and outside of the team. You will also play a hands-on role in troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing code as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Track the status of ongoing tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are on schedule
• Coordinate and follow up with internal and external contributors to resolve blockers and maintain project momentum
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix code issues across the team’s projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Maintain clear documentation of project progress, issues, and solutions
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in software development and team management
• Python
• Mobile App Stack (Android/iOS, RestAPI, Database)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in one or more programming languages
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is a must

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates have to go through a 3-months paid (40k INR per month) internship. Based on the performance in the internship, the final selection will be made.
