We are seeking a
mid-career Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer (IC3)
to strengthen our infrastructure and operations teams. This role is critical in advancing our organizational goals of operational excellence, cloud migration, and cost optimization. As part of Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI), this engineer will directly contribute to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of services that are dependencies for customer-facing platforms.This position is intentionally leveled at IC3
to provide balanced coverage across tactical operations, automation, and delivery ownership — allowing senior engineers (IC4/IC5) to focus on architectural strategy and platform modernization. It reflects our commitment to streamlining job families while aligning responsibilities to career progression paths.The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cloud environments, infrastructure as code, and observability, with a strong track record of ownership and execution. Experience with Oracle Database, identity-based management solutions, or AI/ML infrastructure will be considered a strong plus, supporting key initiatives across identity modernization, platform reliability, and future innovation.Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and support scalable cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and alerting systems.Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Partner with software engineering teams to design resilient, secure, and highly available services.Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring incident response and service recovery within defined SLAs.Champion automation to reduce toil and manual effort in operations.Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing across the team.Proactively identify areas for improvement in system performance, security posture, and operational processes.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments
(OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code
tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent).Solid understanding of Linux systems administration
and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) and log/metric analysis.Proven ability to own technical deliverables from design through implementation and support.Excellent troubleshooting skills across application, system, and network layers.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Database
operations and administration.Exposure to identity-based management solutions
(e.g., IAM, PAM, SSO, or equivalent).Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, pipelines, or tooling
in production environments.Experience in OCI
