Social Media Specialist

About the Role We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to manage our brand’s online presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. The role is hands-on and content-driven – you will be responsible for creating engaging posts and reels, managing community interactions, collaborating with influencers, and growing Uber Decor’s digital presence. This is an entry-level position with scope for growth based on performance. If you’re passionate about social media, have an eye for design, and know how to make content that resonates, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities Content Creation Shoot, edit, and publish engaging videos/reels, stories, and posts Create graphics, product highlights, and mood boards using Canva or similar tools Write catchy captions, hashtags, and copy aligned with brand voice Channel Management: Regularly update and manage brand accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and queries on social media promptly Manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting Community Engagement & Growth: Collaborate with influencers, creators, and brands for cross-promotions Engage with followers through comments, polls, Q&A, etc. Track engagement, reach, and trends to optimize performance Analytics & Reporting: Monitor post performance using platform insights Share weekly/monthly reports on engagement, followers, and campaign results Required Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of video shooting and editing (Instagram Reels, TikTok-style edits, YouTube Shorts) Familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, VN Editor, Adobe Premiere Pro (basic level acceptable) Ability to create aesthetic, scroll-stopping content tailored for social media Understanding of trending audio, hashtags, and formats on Instagram & Reels Good communication and written skills for captions and replies A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn Work Schedule Days: Tuesday to Sunday Weekly Off: Monday Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Salary & Growth Base Pay: As per entry-level standards (negotiable) Additional Opportunities: “You earn according to what you can do for us” – we are open to providing performance-based growth and incentives for candidates who show results and creativity beyond the basics.
