Role Overview

Social Media Marketing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and execute monthly content calendars for

    Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn

    , and other platforms
  • Align content with ongoing events, seasonal campaigns, and Benison’s voice (premium, aesthetic, insightful)
  • Ideate engaging concepts for

    reels, carousels, stories, static posts

    , and

    behind-the-scenes

    content

Performance & Campaigns

  • Run

    lead generation ads

    for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events
  • Monitor ad performance, analytics, engagement, and optimize for reach & conversions
  • Maintain and report on KPIs (follower growth, reach, engagement rate, leads generated)
🤝

Community Building

  • Engage with followers, vendors, collaborators, and past clients
  • Use polls, AMAs, interactive stories, and influencer partnerships to foster a community
  • Moderate comments, DMs, and manage inquiries (in coordination with BD/sales)
🎥

Reel & Content Creation Oversight

  • Coordinate with

    videographers, editors, and ideators

    to shoot and edit content
  • Brief creatives, maintain brand guidelines, and manage timelines for output
  • Stay updated on trends and incorporate relevant ones into brand content
💼

Collaborations & Brand Visibility

  • Work with the BD team to promote

    sponsored events, pop-ups, and IPs

  • Handle giveaways, influencer outreach, and brand tag-ups
  • Support in offline event marketing via digital storytelling

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years experience in social media/digital marketing (preferably events/lifestyle sector)
  • Excellent grasp of

    Instagram marketing, Meta Ads Manager, Canva/Adobe tools, and content trends

  • Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of

    luxury/premium brand positioning

  • Good communication & copywriting skills
  • Bonus: Familiarity with scheduling tools (like Buffer, Later, Creator Studio)
  • Plus point- Knack for editing graphics and basic video editing and reel making
  • Linkedin marketing knowhow
  • Ad promotion knowledge is a must
