Social Media Marketing Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Monitor and engage with the audience through comments, DMs, and community posts
• Help plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with marketing goals
• Track performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, engagement, etc.) and prepare basic reports
• Research trends, hashtags, and competitors to keep content fresh and relevant
• Assist in creating basic graphics and visuals using tools like Canva or similar
• Collaborate with the design and content team to align messaging across platforms
• Suggest creative ways to boost brand awareness and online presence

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and how they work
• Basic knowledge of content creation (captions, reels, stories, etc.)
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar (a plus)
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to experiment with new ideas
• Understanding of social media trends, hashtags, and audience behavior
• Bonus: Basic knowledge of social media analytics and insights
