Social Media Marketing Intern

Role Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our social media managers to assist in day-to-day activities, including content scheduling, engagement tracking, and brainstorming creative ideas. Additionally, you will take ownership of managing and growing our agency’s own social media pages, showcasing our work, culture, and expertise. This is a paid Internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist social media managers in handling client pages (content scheduling, engagement, monitoring).
• Support in brainstorming and drafting post ideas, captions, and campaign strategies.
• Manage the agency’s official social media accounts, ensuring regular, creative, and engaging content is posted.
• Track performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach) and prepare simple reports.
• Stay updated on social media trends, formats, and tools to suggest fresh ideas.
• Coordinate with design and content teams for timely delivery of posts.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Passion for social media and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Creative mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Prior internship or project experience in social media management.
• Basic understanding of analytics and reporting.
• Content writing or copywriting skills.
