Role Description


MAY & CO. is seeking a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager to join our team in New Delhi. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker passionate about digital storytelling and brand building. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, managing content creation, optimizing engagement, and driving brand awareness across digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a compelling social media strategy to enhance brand presence.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (posts, stories, videos, and campaigns) tailored to different platforms.
  • Optimize social media performance through data-driven insights, analytics, and best practices.
  • Write and edit high-quality copy for social media posts, captions, and brand communications.
  • Monitor trends, conversations, and competitors to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and foster audience relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, photographers, and designers to align content with brand goals.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in social media marketing and content strategy.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Expertise in social media optimization (SMO) and audience engagement.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external creatives.
  • Previous experience in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
