Reports To: Marketing Head / Digital Marketing Manager

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contractual (as applicable)

Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage the audience, and drive growth across digital platforms. This role involves creating and curating content, monitoring social trends, analysing performance, and optimizing campaigns to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development:

o Design and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the brand’s goals and marketing plans.

2. Content Planning & Creation:

o Plan, create, and curate engaging, high-quality content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).

3. Community Management:

o Manage and engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.

4. Campaign Management:

o Develop and run paid and organic social media campaigns to promote products, services, or initiatives.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

o Track, analyze, and report key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of social media activities.

6. Trend Analysis:

o Monitor emerging social media trends, tools, and competitor activities to keep strategies current and competitive.

7. Brand Consistency:

o Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, values, and visual guidelines.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration:

o Coordinate with the content, design, sales, and customer service teams to synchronize messaging and campaign efforts.

9. Social Media Advertising:

o Plan and manage paid social ad budgets, targeting, creative, and optimization.

10. Crisis Management:

o Identify and manage potential social media crises, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinking with attention to detail and design aesthetics.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting social media metrics and performance data.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and collaboration strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively suggest new ideas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
