Role Description

remote volunteer role

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.
• Plan and schedule social media content aligning with branding, tone and messaging.
• Abreast of emerging industry trends, algorithms and social media tools relevant to outreach and engagement.
• Curate attention-catching content, including captions, posts and creatives.
• Engage with followers through comments, messages and interactions, fostering community dialogue and strengthening brand affinity.
• Oversee and manage all social media channels pertinent to the zine.
• Uphold ethical standards in social media management.
• Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and Google Analytics is preferred not mandatory.

Expected KSAs

• Basic knowledge of Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO) skills.
• Content Strategy and Writing Skills.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Passion for non-profits, zines, magazines and community building is a plus.
