Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Manager role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves strategizing and managing social media campaigns, creating engaging social media content, analyzing performance metrics, and working closely with the digital marketing team to enhance audience engagement and brand presence. The candidate will also be responsible for effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives successfully.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
• Experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement
• Creativity and attention to detail in creating engaging and impactful content
• Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and optimize strategies
• Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute the social media content strategy and monthly content calendar.
• Lead the creation and supervision of daily posts, reels, stories, and multimedia assets.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging, and narrative across all digital channels.
• Drive student engagement, community interaction, and platform growth through comments, DMs, and trend-based content.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute student reels, influencer collaborations, and campaign initiatives.
• Track performance metrics, analyze insights, and optimize content strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with design, PR, academic teams, and institute leadership to align messaging and campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of proven experience in social media management (preferably with a digital marketing agency or in the education sector).
• Strong command of visual and written storytelling.
• Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in Canva, basic video editing tools, and social media analytics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and creative vision.

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in content writing or copywriting.
• Strong eye for visual aesthetics, branding, and photography direction.
• Ability to create multilingual content (English + Hindi/Bengali preferred).
