Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide L2 application support for the trading platform accessed via Citrix Workspace, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix Workspace, backend databases, and the trading application environment.

•Monitor application and database health, availability, and performance using relevant monitoring and alerting tools.

•Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending automation, alert tuning, and process enhancements aligned with Site Reliability Engineering principles.

•Perform SQL query analysis and database troubleshooting to identify and fix data or performance issues.

•Interrogate SQL Server databases for investigations using simple and complex SQL queries.

•Investigation of user queries via log file and process interaction, e.g. order issues, flow breaks, booking issues and Pricing.

•Collaborate closely with development, QA, and SRE teams to diagnose and resolve complex incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

•Interaction with Offshore teams and be able to communicate issues effectively and with clarity.

Technical Skills:

• Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Windows OS environments.

• Citrix Workspace: Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user session management.

• Databases: Proficient in SQL query writing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting on relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

• Application Support: Incident management, problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and resolution of enterprise application issues.

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practices: Monitoring, alerting, automation, incident response, and reliability improvements.

• Monitoring Tools: Application and infrastructure monitoring Tools.

• Scripting and Automation: Basic to intermediate knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python.

• Version Control Systems: Familiarity with Git or similar tools for managing scripts or configuration files (optional but beneficial).

• Strong knowledge of Citrix Workspace troubleshooting.

• Proficient in SQL and database troubleshooting, with experience in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

• Experience providing L2 support for complex enterprise applications, preferably trading platforms or financial systems.

• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, including monitoring, alerting, incident management, and automation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
