Site Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Site Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing site operations independently, with strong expertise in commercial buildings and finishing work. This role demands leadership, technical knowledge, and coordination skills to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Management & Execution

• Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth execution as per project schedule.

• Supervise civil, structural, and finishing works with a strong focus on commercial building projects.

• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms.

2. Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and monitor detailed work schedules, resource plans, and manpower deployment.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors for timely execution.

• Liaise with procurement teams for material requirements and timely availability.

• Liaise with contract teams for Work order and timely availability of contractor.

3. Contractor Management

• Lead and mentor site team and all contractors / vendors.

• Monitor contractor performance and resolve site-level issues effectively.

• Ensure contractors follow agreed schedules, BOQ, and scope of work.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress against timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are achieved.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Highlight risks, delays, and propose mitigation plans proactively.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Implement strict quality control measures across all stages of construction.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at site.

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and report deviations with corrective actions.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of commercial projects

• Expertise in finishing works (flooring, false ceiling, painting, MEP coordination, interiors).

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
