Job Title: Site Manager – Dhal Processing Factory 📝 Job Summary: The Site Manager will oversee all operations at the Dhal processing facility, ensuring efficient production, quality control, safety compliance, and team coordination. This role demands strong leadership, technical knowledge of pulse processing, and operational excellence. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Manage daily operations including cleaning, grading, splitting, polishing, and packaging of Dhal. Quality Control: Ensure product quality meets industry standards and customer specifications. Staff Management: Supervise and train production staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance. Maintenance Coordination: Oversee maintenance of machinery such as dehuskers, graders, and polishers. Inventory & Supply Chain: Monitor raw material intake, stock levels, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams. Compliance & Safety: Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards as per FSSAI and local regulations. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste. Reporting: Maintain production records, downtime logs, and submit regular reports to senior management. 🎓 Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field. 10 years of experience in food processing or agro-industrial operations, preferably in pulses. Strong knowledge of Dhal processing techniques and equipment. Leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
