Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee mechanical systems on-site, coordinate with contractors, ensure adherence to design specifications, and monitor project progress. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, on-site experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, piping, etc.)

. • Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and other professionals on-site.

• Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure project milestones are met.

• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to relevant codes and standards.

• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.

• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or issues that may arise during installation.

• Monitor the use of materials and workmanship to ensure efficiency and prevent waste.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth execution.

• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and material tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in site supervision, particularly in mechanical systems.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing.

• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc.).

• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
