Job Description:

As a Civil Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and development of civil engineering projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Formulate project parameters and assign responsibilities to the most capable employees, monitoring project progress and team performance.
• Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements, representing them in the field.
• Design and Development:
• Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance; report on project status.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and other project participants, providing assistance and technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Site Supervision:
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents supplied by clients or architects.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
