JD for a Finite Element Analysis Engineer

Key responsibilities

1.CAD cleaning methodologies before meshing

2.Meshing of Parts and Assemblies with choice of elements.

3.Perform finite element analysis ( Static, Thermal, Nonlinear) on components to ensure they meet design and performance requirements.

4.Create and validate FEA models for static and thermal simulations.

5.Analyse and interpret simulation results based on various apt theories of failures, providing recommendations revise design.

6.Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve designs.

7.Prepare reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required qualifications

Education:

1)Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred for experienced candidates.

Experience:

1)Experienced Candidates: Minimum of 4-5 years of Experience with FEA and CAD

2)Entry-level positions 1-2 years.

Technical skills:

1)Proficiency in FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus).

2)Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).

3)Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, capable of doing design calculations, fatigue life calculations, understanding of Strength of materials,Mechanisms, and Machine design.

Soft skills:

1.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

2.Decent communication skills.

3.Ability to work as part of a team.

4.Presentation skills on PPT
