Shift Engineer

• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and service engineers.
• Conduct daily task briefings, allocate responsibilities, and ensure safe work practices.
• Mentor and develop team skills aligned with quality and safety standards.
• Maintenance Execution & Optimization
• Ensure execution of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Monitor and drive improvement in equipment availability, MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and reliability indices.
• Conduct fault diagnosis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Contract Performance & Reporting
• Track and report contractual KPIs as per agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement).
• Maintain accurate records of downtime, failure trends, repair history, and interventions.
• Liaise with OEM/vendor/contracting agency for technical clarifications and escalations.
• Planning, Scheduling & Resourcing
• Coordinate with planners and store for timely availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Review and update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
• Support inventory control and forecasting based on usage patterns and repair history.
• Compliance, Quality & Safety
• Enforce safety practices including Permit-to-Work (PTW), JSA, and LOTOTO procedures.
• Ensure repair quality and maintenance standards as per OEM and contract guidelines.
• Promote and drive a Zero Harm culture across the workforce.
