Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage metal and steel melting operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Operate and monitor induction, arc, and other melting furnaces used in forging.

Plan and execute heat treatment processes such as annealing, normalizing, hardening, tempering, and quenching.

Maintain and control furnace temperature profiles and treatment cycles according to metallurgical standards.

Work closely with the production and quality teams to meet mechanical property requirements and minimize defects.

Interpret material test reports (MTRs), metallurgical failure analysis, and microstructure evaluations.

Optimize process parameters to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance product consistency.

Ensure compliance with ISO/TS/AS or other relevant industry standards.

Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members.

Requirements:

712 years of relevant experience in metal melting, steel melting, or heat treatment in the forging industry.

Strong understanding of ferrous metallurgy, forging processes, and mechanical property requirements.
